GreatestIPTV – IPTV Subscription You Can Test Before You Pay

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) Setup: Upload Your Playlist by MAC Address

Smart IPTV, written variously as SIPTV or Siptv, is a deliberately lightweight player for Samsung and LG televisions. It works unlike anything else in these guides, because there is no login screen on the television at all. Instead you upload your M3U link against the MAC address of the set on the Smart IPTV website, and the app collects it from there.

What you need

  • Samsung or LG smart TV with the Smart IPTV app
  • The MAC address shown in the app
  • GreatestIPTV M3U link

Step-by-step setup

  1. Install Smart IPTV on the TV

Search the Samsung or LG store for "Smart IPTV" and install it. Open it once and write down the MAC address it displays; you need that in the next step.

    Get your GreatestIPTV login

  2. Upload the playlist

On a phone or computer, open siptv.app/mylist. Enter the MAC address, paste your M3U link into the URL field, tick "Keep online" so it persists, and click Send.

  3. Restart the app

Close Smart IPTV on the television completely, then reopen it. The channels and guide are pulled in from the playlist you just uploaded.

  4. Activate after the trial

The app runs free for 7 days and then asks for a small one-time activation per television at siptv.app/activation. To be clear about where the money goes: that fee belongs to the app developer, not to us, and it is charged once per set.

Common errors and fixes

The list uploads but the TV shows nothing

Give it a minute and restart the app before assuming anything is wrong. Then check the MAC was entered exactly, colons included. Remember too that only one playlist is active at a time, so a second upload replaces the first.

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) IPTV FAQ

What is the difference between Smart IPTV and SSIPTV?

They are entirely separate apps with confusingly similar names. Smart IPTV, or SIPTV, takes playlists at siptv.app. SS IPTV is a different product and loads them at ss-iptv.com. Both accept our M3U link and both appear on Samsung and LG televisions, so check which one you actually installed.
